Site Plan
Description:Site plans show how a property will be developed including buildings, parking, landscaping, signage and so much more. That layout and design has a direct effect on the overall functionality of the site, the extent to which the land use can be expanded on the site in the future, effects of the land use on nearby properties, and impacts on existing and anticipated public and private infrastructure.

Decision-maker(s): The Plan Commission reviews applications within business zoning districts and all other nonmanufacturing zoning districts. The Economic Development Committee reviews applications within manufacturing zoning districts. If a project is located in the Village Center Overlay district, the Historic Preservation Committee makes a recommendation to the Plan Commission or the Economic development committee as appropriate.
 
Application fee:
  • Conceptual Site Plan and/or Architectural Review: $200.00 plus $.02 per sq. ft.
  • Minor Site Plan (Buildings less than 600 sq. ft.): $135.00 plus $.02 per sq. ft.
  • Resubmittal of or Amendment to Site Plan and/or Architectural Review: $200.00
  • Site Plan and/or Architectural Review: $250.00 plus $.02 per sq. ft.
Calendar Notes:
In order for an application to be heard on a given meeting date, the application (including forms, fees, plans, reports, etc.) must be submitted AND deemed complete by Village staff on or before the corresponding submittal date. Because of that, you should submit your application before the submittal date. That way, we may be able to let you know if anything is missing and you'll have some time to perhaps get it done before the deadline.
